Analytics master class at AUBG

Hristo Hadjitchonev, CEO of A4E reveals how big data affects businesses

The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) organizes a master class, in which lecturers reveal how big data can be generate various business benefits. Severin Meregali, Associate Professor of Information Systems at the prestigious Italian Business School, Bocconi delivered the final speech but the CEO of A4E Hristo Hadjitchonev did the introduction to the Master Class with a lection entitled „How Big is Data Science“.

He outlined the global trends in data science, demonstrated the different implementation options within different kind of businesses, how to set up and manage an analytical team, and explained how the return on such investment should be calculated. Hadjitchonev illustrated all of the above with real case studies. The A4E CEO also participated in a discussion panel devoted to the practical implementation of analytical projects.

This was the first master class with a focus on data science and its application in business, organized by AUBG with the support of Data Science Society. Practical data-processing workshops have also taken place covering practical topics as data vizualization, cloud based machine learning, exploring techniques, etc.
